Traineeships @ the YMCA Traineeships are a system of combining accredited training and employment so that people entering an occupation can receive instruction on specific skills while working in the industry. Traineeships are available in a range of different occupations, and at both Certificate II and III level. The training component of the traineeship is funded by the Queensland Government’s. Skills Recognition

Skills Recognition

The YMCA offers a free skills recognition assessment prior to enrolment in any of our courses. We will assess your current competence and provide an obligation free quote to complete your chosen course.

To start this process, simply submit a portfolio of documents including your resume, qualifications, job descriptions, references etc, and let us know which course you wish to complete. We will assess your application, and where appropriate conduct further assessment in person with you, to gain the maximum recognition against your chosen course.

This skills recognition assessment can save you both money and time, as you will have less of the course to complete
