Traineeships @ the YMCA Traineeships are a system of combining accredited training and employment so that people entering an occupation can receive instruction on specific skills while working in the industry.  Traineeships are available in a range of different occupations including sport, fitness and childcare, at Certificate II, III and Diploma level.  The training component of the traineeship is funded by the Queensland Government's Department of Education, Training and Employment.
