Traineeship

What is a Traineeship?

Traineeships are a system of combining accredited training and employment so that people entering an occupation can receive instruction on specific skills while working in the industry.  Traineeships are available in a range of different occupations, and at Certificate II, III and Diploma levels.

The training component of the traineeship is funded by the Queensland Government’s Department of Education, Training and Employment.  This is based on the trainee meeting required eligibility criteria.  To determine if your trainee is eligible, please discuss this with your Australian Apprenticeship Centre.
