Apply First Aid Course

This course is broken down into two components, theory and practical.  The theory is completed prior to attending the practical day using the workbook and assessment provided.  The practical component is held over one day, from 8.30am to 3.30pm. 

This course includes the performance of Cardio Pulmonary Resuscitation.

Units of competency covered by the course are

HLTCPR201     Perform CPR

HLTFA201A     Provide basic emergency life support

HLTFA301B     Apply First Aid

In order to maintain the currency of your first aid qualification, the Australian Resuscitation Council recommends that you update your CPR every year, and your full first aid certificate every three years.
