Re-Certification

First Aid Re-Certification

In order to maintain your currency, you are required to recertify your first-aid every three years. In order to recertify, you only need to attend the one day re-certification course.  You will bes assessed both practically through observations, and also in written format by sitting a multiple choice assessment.  

The re-certification course is held from 8.30AM to 3.30PM and includes an update of your CPR.

Units of Competency covered by this course are

HLTCPR201       Provide CPR

HLTFA201A      Provide basic emergency life support

HLTFA301B      Apply first aid

There is no pre-reading required for the re-certification course.
